EPDOR at the 14th European Nuclear Energy Forum

What are the risks and opportunities in the field of nuclear energy? What are the challenges the European Union and its members face today and what role does nuclear energy play in facing them? How embedded is nuclear energy in the strategic framework of the EU? These and other questions have been addressed at the annual European Nuclear Energy Forum and EPDOR was there to learn. The conference focused on the topics of "Ageing and long term operation of nuclear power plants in Europe - challenges and opportunities" and the "2050 Long term strategy" document outlining the "long-term vision for a prosperous, modern, competitive and climate-neutral economy by 2050 - A Clean Planet for All" (for more information, please, click here), was also subject to discussion. The conference provided valuable insights into the present and the future and we are thrilled to have attended it.
